
Years of restaurant experience taught me to proficiently expedite orders to tables, have great customer service and respect for my coworkers and managers, and great time management skills.
Helped customers at the door, whether that was directing them to a table, to the bar, or grabbing an UberEats order for them. Managed wait lists and server rotation. Bussed tables for the servers and the bar. Helped run the expo line to make sure orders went out correctly, food items went out together or at the right time, and bagging up to-go orders. Working on expo includes helping the servers run their food/drinks to tables. Made sure the restaurant was generally kept clean by spot sweeping and wiping where needed. Rolled silverware for use on the tables and at the bar.
Worked both as a server waiting tables and at the to-go counter, depending on the shift. Working with to-go orders, I was either helping on the expo line packaging to-go orders, or most of the time I helped customers pick up their order and process payment, while also taking phone orders and transferring orders from an online service (like GrubHub) in to the POS system.
Manage expo line in the back of house and facilitate to-go orders, making sure each ticket had the correct items ready for pickup.
