  • Everyday duties were to meet with the clients that come in and identify their needs. Enroll them in our program and start the process of getting them back on their feet. We assisted families with food, PG&E assistance, WIC, resume building to assist them in finding employment. Make referrals to Solano County for other programs they may qualify for and assist them with bus passes to get to appointments.
  • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.
  • County reports
  • Monthly County Meetings
  • Outreach in the community
  • Assist clients with applications for food stamps.
  • Deliver Food every other Monday to Seniors in our community.
  • Assist Clients with paperwork for season of sharing (rental assistance)
  • Prepare food boxes of food for our weekly giveaway.
  • Easter preparation of making Easter baskets for the children in the community
  • Christmas give away, wrap presents that are donated to the food bank to give out to families in the community.
