  • At times, there were sudden increases in the influx of Reactive units for IB Stow. When we usually keep track of 4,000 to 5,000 units on average per reactive, tracking around two to three trailers at most, we have been having to track four to five trailers at the same time, essentially increasing the number of units we need to track by 67%-100%.
  • Kept an organized and detailed area for KIPs, AFTs, and percent/number of reactive units to be stowed on CX Hunter. Tracked reactives on all floors for the side I am on, making sure to call out any pallets that were at risk and need to be spread. Implemented a practice for my teams that made spreading reactive units on floor more efficient and easier to track
  • No misses on any reactive units to be stowed on any floor or side of the mod that I have been on

Learning Ambassador

  • With a lack of IB Stow ambassadors on site as well as oversaturation of newly hired associates, there was a standstill in operations and increasing costs that were being shelled out to new associates, standing and waiting for nonexistent ambassadors
  • I was assigned five associates, the maximum number we are allowed to have, however, seeing the increasing pressure on learning as well as the dazed associates, I offered to take on an extra three associates to train, increasing my associates to be trained by 60%
  • Worked with leadership to set up a small section aside in order to keep all associates close to supervise and be there to answer any questions they might have. Relieved pressure from Learning, while putting associates to work so that costs were justifiable

GCA Coach

  • Associates were having quality issues that were not touched upon by ETI nor Quality teams
  • Was on-boarded to the GCA team and sat down with a group of highly skilled individuals selected to pilot the new GCA system, interacting and engaging with associates on floor. Coached associates on minor quality errors that are not as grievous as the main four conducted by the Quality team, yet were generated more often as it is often overlooked
  • Since the launch of the program, I had seen a drastic decrease of GCAs completed in a single shift, which peaked at a slightly over 70 associates, down to around 2 dozen associates, effectively cutting the engagements needed by a little over 66%

ETI Sensei

  • Associate mediums rates were not meeting the standard target of 121 units per hour
  • Conducted audits on bottom performing individuals, seeking to understand any barriers preventing them from performing at par to standard and coaching them on habits needed to be formed or actions that can be changed in order to maximize efficiency
  • As a PG, being an ETI sensei is a great tool as well, to coach associates on the floors we run. After coaching bottom performing individuals on my floors, my associates mediums rate went from 111.82 units per hour to 139.33 units per hour, seeing a 24.6% increase from SoS to EoS and outperforming the standard by 15.1%

FC Quality Coach

  • Fulfillment Center had not been meeting DPMO goals, especially with the influx of new associates. Was accepted into the Quality team to focus on educating and engaging with associates, mainly focusing on those having trouble with PC99, SoS, BFV, and NME errors
  • DPMO decreased from around 32,000 to just 25,000
  • A decrease of 7,000 units on average helped increase quality, while also cutting costs required to inspect and determine if those damages can be sent to putback or to donations/excessive damages
