Chief Cyber Advisor to the Army Office of the Principal Cyber Advisor (A-OPCA), directly reporting to the Secretary of Army regarding the synchronization, coordination, oversight, and implementation of the Department of Defense Cyber Strategy. Plans, coordinates, evaluates, and integrates training and talent management programs across Army Components, including OCO, DCO, DoDIN, EW, and IO forces to achieve efficiencies. Evaluates Army cyber policies and programs for recruitment and talent management of cyberspace forces, programs, initiatives, and readiness implications. Researches, analyzes and determines the long-range impacts of new cyber concepts, systems and organizations. Develops modernization, marketing, and investment approaches designed to ensure the DOD outpaces cyberspace threats and near-peers.

Senior Technical Advisor to the Director of the Army Cyber Institute; supports the US Military Academy, USCYBERCOM, the Cyber Mission Force, U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), the Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber, USSOCOM, and Echelons Corps and below. Responsible for furthering the development of the Cyber Branch and the advancement of education within the military. Conducts outreach, provides expertise, and advises leaders on government, industry, and academia collaborative efforts to develop and evolve public-private partnerships. Research Scientist for cyber operations, cyber education, and cyber exercises within the Army Cyber Institute to accomplish objectives in support of the Nation, the Department of Defense, and the Army's mission in cyberspace.

Led a joint team of 44 soldiers, airmen, and civilians to build, develop, and maintain the prototype Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) platform for the Joint Mission Operations Center (JMOC) in support of the Cyber Mission Force. Served as a subject matter expert on cyberspace operations and coordinated directly with US Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), the National Security Agency, and other partner organizations to enable operations in support of national and combatant command objectives. Conducted and coordinated incident response actions to ensure multiple contiguous operations. Led training and mentored fellow DCO personnel regarding technical competencies and challenges. Developed and administered policies to address mission requirements and establish operational guidelines.

Cyberspace Operations Element Lead for 44 National Mission Team, working in direct support of the Commander of USCYBERCOM, responsible for protecting critical infrastructure for the United States. Assigned as an Exploitation Analyst (EA), responsible for leading integrated operations and analysis on the execution of critical, time-sensitive, collection and analysis in support of national, joint and Army requirements. Served as the Task Force Technical Director, responsible for providing technical guidance to 13 teams on the employment of offensive and defensive cyberspace missions. Functioned as a Mission Commander, responsible for leading offensive cyberspace operations. Served as the Battalion EA Curator, responsible for the health and advancement of 96 EAs across the brigade.

Responsible for leading, directing, and synchronizing a world-wide deployable team to detect, illuminate, and respond to adversarial presence on the DoD Information Network and networks of national importance. As the team's Planner, responsible for evaluating team response to events in cyberspace. Advised the Team Leader on the correct tactical actions during planning and operations. Served as the team Intelligence Oversight Officer.

Directed actions, training, and mission alignment of a national-level Discovery and Counter-Infiltration Team, responsible for the development of the sensor strategy and deployed sensor capabilities to support mission risk mitigation strategies. Characterized advanced adversarial tradecraft within US and coalition networks that evade routine security measures. Developed, created, and modified existing computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs. Served as the team Intelligence Oversight Officer.

Served as the Army-level Subject Matter Expert for application-based security. Responsible for leading, directing, and evaluating plans, policies, and procedures that are the foundation for the Department of the Army Cyber and Information Technology (IT) capabilities and services for the DoDIN. Directly supported cyber operations by providing advice and guidance to strategic and expeditionary forces on IT capabilities; Host Based Security System (HBSS); Information Assurance (IA); C2 systems; hardware installation, configuration management; project planning. Responsible for developing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), orders, and planning for Army HBSS implementation and operations.

Network Defense Planner for the Army Cyber Operations and Integration Center. Responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating, integrating, synchronizing, directing, and conducting network operations and defense of all Army networks. Ensured Army orders, directives, and initiatives were integrated and synchronized within Army Cyber Command processes and enforced compliance across six theaters of operation. Provided Army Cyber Command, DISA, CIO/G-6, and USCYBERCOM leadership with situational awareness and compliance reporting status of the LandWarNet. Responsible for directing and managing a multi-disciplinary team consisting of military and DA Civilians.

Technical expert for the Brigade Combat Team on the technical employment of battlefield distributed communications and automation systems. Responsible for leading a team consisting of 20 service members and civilians. Maintained, operated, integrated, and secured the Brigade Combat Team's networks. Responsible for the management of the training of personnel on the installation, maintenance, operations, integration, security, and troubleshooting of the tactical intranets and video teleconferencing systems. Planned and performed communications security account management oversight in garrison and combat operations. Implemented Information Assurance plans as the Brigade Information Assurance Manager.

Medium Internet Protocol Package Team Chief responsible for the health, welfare, and training, and combat readiness of 18 Joint Service Personnel; managed communications and networking equipment in excess of $8.5 million. Assigned to a selectively manned Joint Airborne Communications unit; provides complete communications for two Joint Task Forces and two Joint Special Operations Task Force Headquarters; direct reporting to US Joint Forces Command, which deployed worldwide in direct support of combatant commanders for contingencies ranging from major theater conflicts to humanitarian relief missions. Responsible for leading a team consisting of 17 service members.

Provided communications support to the 82nd Airborne, four Joint Task Forces, and the Joint Special Operations Task Force Headquarters. Directly reported to US Joint Forces Command , deployed worldwide in direct support of the combatant commanders for contingencies ranging from the major theater wars to humanitarian relief missions; responsible for the training, installation, operations, and maintenance of military satellite terminals, Global Broadcast System, and the Cable News Network terminal.
