I am currently a volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho, where I have the privilege of spending my time in the pediatric playroom. One of the most rewarding aspects of my volunteer work is helping children cope with the emotional and psychological challenges of medical trauma. Through play, creativity, and simply offering a friendly presence, I aim to bring a sense of comfort and normalcy to children who are navigating difficult health experiences. It’s truly fulfilling to be part of a team that helps brighten their day and supports them in managing the stress and fear that can come with hospital visits.
