Job Related Training

In 2017 I was in Summit Academy OIC.S Medical Administrative Program. During my time there I learned a range of knowledge and skills that would help me be successful with the essential duties I would need to know in order to do my job correctly as a MAA. They taught me about Medical office procedures, basic computer skills, how to use Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. The program taught me how Professional communication in the workplace and problem-solving.

I was also introduced to beginner’s level Medical terminology and Medical billing and coding along with an introduction to insurance and HIPPA.

Awards

In 2024,  I was one of the recipients of the IHS Directors Awards. I received the IHS Directors Award for costumer service. I am very grateful to have been considered let alone, a recipient.
