  • Manage applications and maintain records for specialized programs such as disabled/senior citizen’s deferral, veterans’ exemption and manufactured homes. Accept and document fees with said applications. Perform data entry to record appropriate information on changes for the specialized programs. Analyze and review their LB50 form and their resolution to determine if they have all of the necessary requirements. Update lists and email the information to the Oregon Department of Revenue.
  • Manage, recognize, compile, organize, maintain and remove various printed and electronic records, files, spreadsheets, documents and other data associated with segregations, cartography and mapping.


  • Answer telephones and assist customers at counter regarding location and ownership of real property and manufactured structures. Assist customers with complicated assessment and taxation questions and concerns. Respond to customer phone or email questions in a timely manner. Discuss complicated statutory or office procedures as they relate to real and personal property assessment.
  • Provide excellent customer service when working with taxpayers, colleagues, and the general public to resolve difficult issues and concerns; analyze, explain and reconcile unusual or escalated issues with professionalism.
  • Provide specialized assessment, taxation, clerical or technical support and data entry for the Assessor’s office. This includes photocopying, typing letters, filing or retrieval of various types of records, map printing, filling out forms, preparing, distributing and processing mail. Aid all staff within the Assessment or Tax Departments as needed.
