Assistant to all DOB Inspectors in preparing documents such as violations to be posted and mailed, violation dismissal letters, DSS letters, condemnation letters, permit letters of completion/compliance (if associated with violations), summonses for court appearance, taking some incoming calls for inspectors and making some outgoing calls for inspectors, as well as, scheduling some inspections (mostly upon request).
The document coordinator prepares other documents and reports, such as, property information searches, (includes certificates of occupancy, permits and violations). FOIL requests, some inquiry reports from letters and emails, along with some weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly reports, as well as, assisting with and/or creating mass mailings. The document coordinator must make time to assist the welcomed title searchers.
