Work History

Paint Estimator

M&C Construction LLC
07.2024 - 09.2025
  • I looked at and bid on multiple commercial projects weekly. Putting out 7-10 estimates a week.
  • I used Planswift for takeoffs and put together competitive proposals for countless commercial projects.
  • I established a solid working relationship with many different commercial GC.s.
  • I would go to job walks, mainly for the meet and greet, but also to put eyes on the project.
  • I averaged a project a week, sometimes more. Unfortunately work slowed down.

Recon

  • I helped to establish a new part of Servpro in the Portland Area called Recon or Reconstruction.
  • Portland was hit with a crazy winter storm causing all kinds of damage to homes and businesses.
  • Off of spread sheets with potential clients I would call and make contact with owner/owners.
  • I would do a meet and greet followed by doing a Matterport for 3D imaging of the site and damage.
  • I would then send off to the estimator and then hire the subs needed to complete the project.
  • I over saw all projects from the beginning to the very end, collecting payment.
  • This job was remote, working from home and staying on top of my very busy schedule daily.
  • I did start to get into the Insurance end before I gave my 30 day notice for an estimator position in commercial building/Painting company.

Kirby Nagelhout

  • I was hired as a field carpenter and night superintendent.
  • Diamler was the main project I was on. Handling day to day operations in the field.
  • My responsibilities would include moving things for other subs, daily reports, pictures of the project for safety reports daily, night supervision of Kirby manpower and subs on site on swing shift.
  • Safety always the most important thing on all sites as well as meeting the goals set before me and the team so the project could keep on schedule and have a seamless transition from day shift to the evening and back to the day.
  • Unfortunately, I would tear my rotator cuff needing surgery followed my breaking my leg in 3 spots from an accident and would be out for almost a year.
