Leadership Experience
I have guided drivers that wanted to step to the next level in the school bus industry and become a School Bus Driver Instructor and or a 19a examiner. I have guided them as to how to become and to complete their training to become certified with New York State. From 2005-2021 I was a driver trainer. I prepared new school bus drivers all required to pass their New York State road test to become a licensed class B driver required to drive a school bus. During that time I also conducted biannual testing for current drivers to keep them in compliance under Article 19a. I am currently leading our new mentor program designed to help and establish support to our newly hired drivers.
