Review/Monitor all field aspects of the DPP/DDP processes, systems, institution operations, procedures,
manuals, policies, and staffing at the assigned institution, including review of any DDP new arrivals for proper
housing / screening and tours of institution facilities.
Review class member’s central file information related to DPP/DDP Disciplinary including 114D’s, Classification,
Appeals, Program/Services/Activities, and Population Placement Tracking for overall compliance with the
respective Remedial Plans and court orders.
Through Oracle Reporting, evaluate and monitor for accurate housing of DPP/DDP incarcerated persons according to their restrictions including direct review of the DPW Exception Report, Effective Communication Interview Overdue, IDST Overdue, Expedited Transfer Reports. Review similar housing information utilizing SOMS.

• Interview inmates to develop or modify the inmate's classification, in a correctional setting, utilizing the inmate electronic central file, analytical skills, laws, rules and regulations.
• Gather information from inmates to develop or modify inmate's classification.
• Read reports from a variety of sources to assist in classification of an inmate, in development or modification of the inmate's program utilizing the inmate electronic central file, analytical skills.
• Evaluate reports from a variety of sources to assist in classification of an inmate, in development or modification of the inmate's program.
• Summarize reports from a variety of sources to assist in classification of an inmate.

• Present findings from a variety of sources to a classification committee to assist in classification of an inmate.
• Gather and document information to identify enemy concerns.
• Determine custody requirements of inmates for proper housing and assignments.
• Document pertinent information based on observations or contacts with inmates, families and outside agencies, in order to maintain the safety and security of the institution, staff, inmates, and public utilizing the inmate electronic central file, analytical skills, rules and regulations.
• Facilitate legal phone calls and communication with inmate's and their legal representation.

• Maintain daily inmate documents eg roster, housing cards/personal data cards to ensure consistency and accuracy of program needs.
• Verify inmate identification and intake documentations from transporting unit for intake processing, utilizing standard operating procedures.
• Review inmate court documents for accuracy, completeness, and time limits as needed.
• Complete intake screening forms for classification and inmate housing utilizing inmate records.

• Communicated and coordinated with other facility staff regarding observations and conclusions resulting from work with assigned youthful offenders.
• Prepared written progress evaluations, treatment summaries, and other reports required by the Department and the Youthful Offender Parole Board.
• Implemented treatment plans developed by a treatment team.
• Presented diagnostic and treatment information about assigned youthful offenders at scheduled case conferences.
