ESTIMATOR

• Execute takeoffs from blueprints and drawings using computer-aided design systems and manual calculations.
• Determine pricing, material availability, and locate vendors for landscaping projects.
• Submit bids and proposals to secure project contracts.

PROJECT MANAGER

• Coordinate daily operations by establishing schedules across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Guide employees on task completion required for project success.
• Effectively communicate with contractors, job superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, and inspectors throughout project duration.
• Coordinate deliveries of material needed for projects. Ensure layout and installation of material by employees meets specifications and as shown on blueprints.
• Prepare and submit pay applications and close out documents needed for projects.

OTHER DUTIES AS OPERATIONS MANAGER:

• Conduct interviews for potential employees. Ensure all necessary and required new hire paperwork is completed. Documents include I-9's, W-4's and Direct Deposit.
• Payroll: calculate and submit employees hours to payroll company for bi-weekly payroll.
• Accounts Receivable: process pay applications, collect/process payments and handle deposits of funds through a remote deposit system.
• Human Resources: handle employee issues, grievances or concerns.
• Compliance: prepare and provide documentation to auditors for annual workers compensation and general liability audits.
• Nursery Sales: handle sales of landscape nursery material to nurseries, landscapers and plant brokers.
