At utility partners of America I started off as a lighting technician, the job consisted of planing and routing my work out to maintain a sufficient work completion rate in a timely manor.

• I installed lights for duke energy and span for the service and maintenance of duke energy street lighting.
• One year and six months in I became working foreman over the mountain zone of western North Carolina. Those duties include scheduling of jobs and making sure areas are maintained and jobs are completed in a timely manor.
• making sure a crew of nine guys have everything they need to do their daily task.
• Working closely with duke energy specialist and lighting engineers to get job take care of and done correctly.
• Streamlined lighting installation process by maintaining organized equipment inventory and thorough documentation of layouts.
• Reduced energy consumption in venues by incorporating LED fixtures and sustainable practices into lighting designs.
• Special skills: climbing, bucket truck work, computer skills including dispatching jobs and service suite, Microsoft excel and Microsoft office

Performed work in transformers doing cut overs, transformer change outs,

live front change outs, and repairing existing primary runs from

transformer to transformer and transformer to riser pole.

- Sufficiently read power system maps to understand open points and feed.

- Executed all work on the secondary side in transformers, including, but not

limited to- repairing, running new services, and reworking secondary bus

bars in transformers.

- Experience drilling and locating in new primary and secondary lines along

with drilling in service for primary. Other duties included pulling wire

through pipe and pot holing all services in the bore path.

- Experience installing and subbing pipe into underground transformers for

CobbEMC and Duke Energy per specifications for each company. Oversaw

a 4 man underground conduit installation crew.

- Daily managed a 2-3 man crew ensuring proper safety and job completion

to Duke Energy’s specifications and safety regulations.

- Responsible for paperwork for each job, keeping timecards, and

maintaining company vehicle and safety equipment for the crew.

Assembled and inspected parts at a quick pace.

-Assembly included prepping, sanding, and priming parts for further painting

and/or shipping.

-Followed safety rules and regulations.

-Maintained proper housekeeping in work areas.

- Installed wiring harnesses, roof rails, door seals, and computer

components into BMW vehicles.

- Responsible for inspecting all items installed and reported all defects.

- Worked in a timely pace to insure i stayed in my production area and job

was completed within the timeframe given.
