I work with our Fishbowl Spirits organization including sales and marketing to drive growth for the Blue Chair Bay Rum portfolio in my territories for both the on premise and retail sectors. I ensure sales assets and strategies are up to date and maximized as they sell. I also leverage available data and insights to identify opportunity “gaps” in the marketplace for growth. I make sure to keep a pulse on market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive activities to recognize challenges and opportunities. I measure and report on the performance of all marketing activities (ROI, KPIs, etc.) I oversee ongoing budget management and tracking in my territories in collaboration with my state and national counterparts. I partner with National and Regional sales leadership to provide effective tools and support that enables local market success and relevancy. In 2023, I grew Blue Chair Bay marketshare 10% in South Texas while conducting over 40 brand activation events in my territory. I have developed new key partners in both states in both the on premise and retail sectors that include major retail chains and hotels.
In my role as a small commercial inside sales consultant with the Hartford, I was required to acquire a Commercial Property and Casualty License within two weeks of starting my training. My responsibilities included selling property and casualty insurance products directly to small business owners, as well as workers compensation insurance. I took inbound calls from warm leads and pre qualified and classified the applicants as well as provided coverage consultations with them. I partnered with the Inside Sales Underwriting team on complex risks in order to write profitable business. I also followed up with customers after completed sales to assess satisfaction and resolve technical or service concerns.
I was responsible for field execution of sales initiatives, the training and development of my sales representatives as well as execution of all sales/promotional programs in San Antonio and the surrounding area for the On Premise Go team. I helped my team conduct strategic sales negotiations with key accounts to achieve supplier initiatives. In my time as District Manager, I lead my team to achieve immense success across multiple supplier goals and initiatives. We were the top GO division across Texas for six consecutive months. I'm proud to say that we finished 2021 with an 8% increase in revenue over our previous best year which was 2019. I truly enjoyed my time as District Manager and relished in the opportunity to help coach and lead my team. In my 14 months as District Manager I helped to grow revenues by $27 million dollars and case volume by 51%.
Was in the role of Hotel Specialist for just over two years. In that time I took a territory that had been extremely successful under my predecessor and was able to grow upon that exponentially. I helped develop cocktail menus for accounts that hadn't made any updates in years as well as for new properties getting ready to open. I built solid relationships with suppliers and accounts and through that was able grow RNDC's marketshare and year over year revenue in my route. I won the Edrington Excellence Award as the Top Texas Hotel Representative both years in the role. I utilized all the tools available to me, and was able to help my accounts pivot to QR code menus during the pandemic. I'm proud to say that a majority of my accounts had at least sixty percent RNDC supplier marketshare on the cocktail menus, with some even at one hundred percent. I truly loved my time in hotels and took the lessons I learned into my next role. During my time in the role I grew revenues by a little over $4.2 million dollars and case volume by 324%.
I started at RNDC as a National Accounts Wine Representative. I was responsible for making sure my accounts hit all their mandates as well as driving sales growth and market share. While in this role I also pitched liquor to my accounts, although this was much more difficult due to the corporate mandates in place with national chains. I overcame this by attention to detail and building key relationships with my buyers. I also conducted both wine and spirits staff trainings with my restaurants. In late October of 2017, I was moved into the On Premise Sales Representative role for the GO Division in San Antonio. In my time in the role I was able to maintain marketshare while growing my overall yearly sales by $1 million dollars. I covered a vast territory of South Texas from the Texas Hill Country down to Del Rio.
