
Extremely dedicated, compassionate, Licensed Child Protective Social Worker currently working with a caseload of youth involved with the Department of Corrections. Strong communication skills with ability to build rapport quickly and assess needs to provide appropriate services and resources.
* Investigate reports of child abuse and neglect and make determinations with regards to immediate child safety and well-being, often while engaged in an escalating interpersonal situation. Routine coordination with Law Enforcement to ensure safety of all involved in the investigation.
* Prepares court documents and submits testimony in both Family Matters and Juvenile Courts in Androscoggin, Oxford, and Franklin Counties. Follows all polices and procedures with regards to submitting legal documentation timely.
* Manages a caseload of youth that are currently involved with the Department of Corrections and involved with the Juvenile Justice system, working as part of a collaborative team with District Attorney's, Criminal Defense Attorney's, Juvenile Probation Officers, Law Enforcement, and community mental health providers for the purposes of maintaining the youth safely in the community.
