Over the summer before I moved to the DC area I took a basic life support class at Hudson Valley Community College that recertifed my skills in AED/CPR/BLS.
During High School I did volunteer work. I worked in a group called “Big Buddies”, where high school students would stay after school and play/do crafts with elementary students who struggled with life at home. I was also involved in a group called “Travel Club”, in this club we raised money to go on trips. We worked in elderly care/nursing homes to help care for them and set up fundraisers for their organization. We would go on walks around town and clean people’s yards. Unfortunately covid hit so I was never able to go on my trip to Costa Rica, so all the money we raised got donated back into our community.
