J'Dyn Pratt

I am an emerging professional in the field of public health, entirely devoted to community health through data-driven solutions and policy analysis and or related fields. Practical experience in healthcare administration and a call center has laid a foundation for me in patient communication, clinical data entry, and healthcare coordination. Currently, a Bachelor's degree student in Public Health at the University of Texas-San Antonio, my courses in database management, health policy, and diseases prevention have equipped me with the analytical tongue to understand and find solutions for public health problems. The development of health policy analyses targeting improvement of diseases and health care systems has further helped me understand how such policies influence healthcare providers and patients. My interest lies in making healthcare systems work in an efficient, equitable manner that is responsive to patients' needs, and I try to contribute to this through an internship or a full-time job in the healthcare industry.
