Jean Chisser

· Work collaboratively with five distinct Affinity Groups Veterans, Technology/Entrepreneurship, Public Service, Energy and Environment, Hellenic) to develop goals, build capacity, promote giving, and implement dynamic events to drive engagement with and loyalty to the University; build, manage and support highly functioning volunteer teams.

· Serve on the leadership team of the campus-wide Veterans Advisory Group; spearhead initiatives that support the recruitment of student veterans and promote a veteran-supportive environment.

· Launched a comprehensive career and academic webinar program for alumni which attracted over 2500 participants annually; was the first to offer online engagement opportunities for alumni. (2015-2020)

· Worked collaboratively with Advancement colleagues to promote and support Boston College’s $1.5 billion Light the World capital campaign. (2008-2016)

· Served as primary staff person for Reunion Weekend for alumnae of Newton College of the Sacred Heart; recruited and supported committee members and planned weekend events (2013; 2015, 2016).

· Partnered with the national Board of Directors of the Alumni Association and served as primary staff liaison for four working committees of the Board (2009-2012).

Envisioned and implemented national conference with 900 in attendance. (2010)

Developed, marketed and implemented a multi-faceted year-long program of lectures, workshops and seminars which featured local and national speakers.

Served as a team leader to more than 75 independent consultants and regularly exceeded sales goals to be in the top 10% of company sales. Recruited and trained consultants to be successful home-based business women. Earned several incentive trips by meeting sales, recruiting and leader development goals.

Collaborated with schools and community groups on the development of health promotion strategies and partnered on execution of events. Also worked to build capacity of community leaders and volunteers.
