I served 8 years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. During this time I served as a mechanic by trade but as a leader and mentor of Marines for the majority. During approximately 2 years of this I served as a tool room and calibrations NCO. I was in charge of 138 pieces of calibrated equipment, as well as 92 various tool kits. I was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Sergeant due to my dedication, initiative and leadership abilities. I was selected to be a recruiter at 23 years old and completed a successful 3 years on recruiting duty.
