As a Security Specialist I have expertise in analyzing and translating business requirements into control objectives, design security controls and implement them along with a security management cycle. I assist in finding the proper balance between enabling and securing in relation to the client's organization, culture, and ecosystem. I also apply technical skills to support the operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and solutions. I also have responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting, and critical client situations.

• Typical examples of deliverables include asset classification models, risk analysis reports, information security policies, security solution scenarios, implementation plans, organization models, procedures, security services, security effectiveness evaluation reports and security awareness workshops.
• Implemented cybersecurity best practices across the organization, reducing instances of data breaches and loss of sensitive information.

As a member of the Version Management Security Analyst team, I work to deliver vulnerability, security advisory & End of Life information to IBM Managed Security Services customers. I am also responsible for working with Subject Matter Experts to identify security risks to our clients. My role also includes:

• Security research, analysis & self-management with the ability to multi-task, delegate & use time efficiently
• Strong understanding of prioritization with ability to identify & respond to escalation issues
• Excellent organizational, Project Management & Communication skills
• Oversee managed inventory of 10K+ devices
• Respond to Audit Requests & Compliance Matters
• Address any advisories or customer issues

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with office Network
• Install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software related problems (Checkpoint and Cisco devices). Perform system backups and recovery. Maintain data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity
• Help set up document control to ensure all tasks are performed to current standards
