With over a decade at AT&T, I've honed my expertise in telecommunications, mastering both copper and fiber splicing, and troubleshooting. Renowned for my meticulous attention to detail and exceptional customer service, I've significantly enhanced network reliability and customer satisfaction. My proficiency in cutting-edge diagnostic tools and commitment to safety practices underscore my comprehensive skill set. I`ve worked alongside many different fields employees at AT&T over the years trying to learn all i could even in fields outside of my own. I have always strived to be the best that i could be and learn as much as possible to be able to be depended on by my co workers and supervisors. I have learned that no matter how much you learn and strive one thing is for sure the only constant thing is change. I have only had 3 jobs including construction, amerifield, and the can man. Worked through high school on weekends and through summer at the can man. Went on to construction with my brother building houses. After that worked with amerifield working on patching bridges and laying asphalt. But over time realized i wanted to better myself and went to college at holmes in ridgeland for cisco networking. Went for a year and had to drop out and go back to work for personal reasons. But went back to college a couple years later at holmes in grenada. There i was on the phi theta kappa for having all 3.8 gpa. I graduated in 2 years with an associates degree in Electronics technology. Right after graduation went and took the basic electricity test and passed to get hired on with att as a service technician. I have been in this position with AT&T for 12 years now. I have really enjoyed and strived in my job learning very quickly and becoming one of my supervisors go to guys to take care of problems my fellow coworkers couldnt resolve. I take pride in my work and love to learn new things and want to better myself any chance i get.
I`ve been a service technician for AT&T going on 12 years now. I have been in the same field my whole career with AT&T. Over the years i have learned many things in the telecommunications field including troubleshooting copper and fiber facilities. I have learned about t-1s, ds-1, ase circuits, pots lines, dsl, uverse, and fiber circuits. Ive assisted in building and repairing t-1 lines to our main junction boxes and customer equipment. Ive learned to trouble shoot copper and fiber using equipment such as jdsu, barney meter, hst 3000, and sidekicks. i have spliced fiber anywhere from a 12 all the way up to a 864(ribbonized and loose tube). Spliced copper cables from a 11 pr to a 2700 pair cable. I have worked in our central offices making cross connects through our systems and wire up our equipment physically. I have also dealt with many customers and assisted them with trouble inside their homes with their inside wire (cat-6) or there equipment from registering their equipment to changing settings for them. I have helped others groups in att with there jobs and learned as much as i could from their field to better be able to repair issues for our customers. I have used equipment such as a flex scan and exfo for troubleshooting fiber issues and fixing the issue. I have also learned to read our diagrams and layouts of our fiber and copper in translore and waldo to find the paths and counts of ATT lines. I have hooked poles, climbed ladders and i am bucket truck certified.
