- Primary responsibilities as the Indirect and Direct Lending Manager are to develop and grow upwards of $40,000,000.00 of vehicle sales through both channels with full sales and underwriting authority. The sales and underwriting authority give me a direct advantage to decision loans while building strong relationships with Finance Managers and Dealership Owners.
- Oversee the indirect loan process from origination through closing to verify all loan documents are fulfilled to meet company policies prior to funding. All fundings are audited each day to ensure no accounting errors. Loan funding notices are emailed out to dealership employees to include reserve paid out of each loan.
- Managed all new and existing dealerships within our lending area and maintained all dealership and loan records, notes and exceptions for NCUA Examiner Audits.
- Currently I underwrite 80% of all indirect vehicle loans through our Allegro/Symitar Systems while dealerships submit loan applications through DealerTrack and RouteOne. I underwrite off standard business hours to provide the best costumer service on week nights and most Saturday Afternoons. I work closely with our consumer underwriters on loan applications and have the authorization to capture other lender approvals to include better interest rates, terms or vehicle grouping for model years.
- I maintain daily production records with net yields to meet company profitability goals.
- Produce and audit the monthly "Paid Loan Report" and issue any chargeback letters for loans which paid off early to gain back the reserve paid out.
- I work directly with our Title Department to resolve any title issues with the dealerships.
- I'm the credit unions vehicle concierge to help out members with sound vehicle advise while also refinancing loans from a transunion recapture list.
- Maintaining a low delinquency level within company objectives.
- I work on current team projects to advance processes to streamline efficiencies with IT/Allegro and DigiDocs through core exports.
