Jeffrey Fennell

With a comprehensive understanding in email development rooted in hand coding HTML/CSS, I’m dedicated to creating emails that render seamlessly across all email clients, with a timely delivery of final assets. I provide mastery in responsive design, and can work effectively with various email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and am currently learning Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
My skills span from proficiency in design tools such as VS Code, Adobe Creative Suite and Figma to rendering tools such as Litmus and EmailOnAcid. Through consistent A/B testing, I identify which versions of an email perform better while also discerning the 'why' behind it. This enables me to make informed decisions, fine-tune strategies, and elevate the overall effectiveness of your campaigns.

I’m continuously researching and adapting to industry best practices, whether it be learning the newest and most efficient way to code for certain email clients, learning data-driven ways to best resonate with clients, or how to make emails easily accessible to those visual impairments.

Prior to my career in tech, I both lead and taught with a team of educators, helping to provide quality K-12 education to over 30 schools in western Massachusetts. My role required exceptional interpersonal skills along with meticulous organizational skills. I'm a certified 300-hr mindfulness teacher, and enjoy facilitating people of all ages and walks of life who are interested in integrating the fullness of experience through the practice of embodied mindfulness.

I’ve led a team of pioneering educators in Massachusetts (META Fellows) in developing age appropriate methods for incorporating mindful awareness in the classroom and everyday life. I find my work in these fields richly informs how I work creatively, and with others in groups and leadership.
