Promoted to EMS team leader. As team leader i performed a full range of light and heavy cleaning duties, and routine housekeeping duties, while maintaining the skill and professionalism to keep patient areas clean and safe, by addressing spills quickly, discarding trash and vacuuming and polishing floors. My duties to train and lead new and old employees in cleaning wards, patient rooms,hacks,offices,corridors,restrooms, shower rooms and other areas. As well as proper sweeping, mopping,scrubbing floor machines, vacuuming carpets and maintaining furniture, empty waste baskets, clean blinds. Washing walls, windows, and ceilings using 3 an 6 foot ladders,refilling toilet tissue, and paper towel dispensers, and moving furniture, while carrying out daily assignments with minimal supervision. I have led by example and have been acting supervisor for over 30 to 40 employees on all shifts 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. i excell in the ability to interpret instructions, specification, ability to lead and supervise, and the ability to use and maintain tools and equipment. I have taken time and attendance and practiced safe work practices. I have worked with high standards of safety and transporting biohazard materials through out the hospital as proper storing, packaging and getting bio hazard materials ready for transporting. I have worked in transporting and distribution of laundry to all clean and dirty linen areas. I also drive the laundry truck. I train all new employees with SOP, TMS, MYPAY, EOPF, and daily assignments. I excel at receiving and distributing all supplies to employees through out the facility. i have excellent customer service! With dealing with veterans that are patients, families, coworkers, doctors, nurses, contractors and vendors. I am highly experienced in stripping and waxing floors, also training and following proper procedure of using personal protective equipment PPE. I have worked through the pandemic and trained in fighting covid with our ultraviolet UV machine and proper cleaning procedures.
