As an Investigator II for the Utah Division of Real Estate, I have a proven track record of working with Brokers, Agents, Commissions, and the public to ensure the safety of those involved in real estate transactions.
In my previous role in Real Estate Licensing, I was responsible for issuing licenses to Sales Agents, Brokers, and Companies. I am spearheading the ML1 project, ensuring that all licensing laws are considered in the new application process. I also train and implement these processes to the licensing team.
Throughout my career, I have held management positions in various organizations, where I have successfully developed and implemented projects, regardless of my title. I am detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about improving processes and boosting morale.
I have a natural ability to motivate and inspire others, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. I am confident that my skills and experience would be a valuable asset to the Real Estate Divisions Licensing and Education Manager position.
I am responsible for conducting investigations related to real estate and timeshare matters. My duties include contacting both the complainant and respondent, gathering evidence, interviewing individuals for additional information, and compiling a comprehensive report. This report includes creating exhibits and analyzing the data to determine if any real estate or timeshare laws were violated.
My primary responsibilities included answering questions regarding laws surrounding the licensing of Agents, Brokers, and Companies. Additionally, I processed applications for licensing and reviewed laws related to licensure. I also conducted audits of Brokers to ensure their work history aligns with the established laws.
I have experience working in the Criminal History Unit and Front Desk with DOPL. Where I was responsible for running background checks from BCI, answering phones, providing customer service, running weekly reports, utilizing the Office suite, organizing fingerprint cards, and assisting eight bureaus by taking payment for and creating and uploading applications.
As Operations Lead for two departments, Returns and Kitting, I was responsible for training, supervising, assessing performance and scheduling eight employees across both departments. I also developed and customized reports to improve warehouse operations. Additionally, I handled business-to-business customer service, placed orders for service and repair, and resolved customer service tickets.
I have experience managing a team of 30 employees, utilizing current technology methods to process and gather orders for online customers. Additionally, I have customized and prioritized the order fulfillment for public customer orders across 11 companies. We routinely had a service level agreement (SLA) of over 10,000 orders that I was responsible for completing by the end of each day.
I gathered data and coordinated efficient transportation routes for three septic technicians. I also entered inspection data from technicians into the county health department website. Additionally, I created invoices, processed accounts payable, processed payments in Quickbooks, and prepared deposits for the bank. Lastly, I answered phones, scheduled appointments for customers, and managed office personnel.
Received a letter of recognition from Governor Cox for my contributions to the Real Estate Division. A spreadsheet I created and implemented has significantly enhanced communication and efficiency within the licensing and records departments. This innovative solution has not only streamlined employee reviews for management but has also increased the workflow for licensing specialists.
As the newest member of the licensing team, I successfully implemented the Commerce policy regarding running payments within three days.
Spearheaded a new payment program for Licensing when I realized that the current payment program was not following Commerce policy.
Received accolades from not only my supervisor and managers, but also from the Division Director, DTS, and the DevOps team regarding my knowledge of licensing and the ML1 system, as well as my patience, attention to detail and forward thinking.
Through dedication and collaboration, I have successfully overcome initial employee apprehension regarding implemented changes. By fostering trust, I have earned recognition as someone who enhances processes and procedures. Consequently, my colleagues frequently seek my guidance and expertise on matters related to investigations and licensing.
