I started my educational journey in August of 2023 with a goal to become a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor at Chi Hullo Li (The Choctaw Nation Women's Recovery Facility) where my healimg and recovery journey began.
Provide great patient care and assist in the direct care of residents. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality of information. Participate in educational programs designed to improve knowledge of health care practices. Provide physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, toileting, walking, standing, or exercising. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients and family. Obtain and relay a wide range of information from physicians, other caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested treatments and activities. Maintained accurate, timely flow of information by completing thorough patient records and updating healthcare team on patient status.
Look for physical, emotional and symptomatic changes in patient condition and obtained necessary care for medical concerns.
Responsible for entire recovery ministry. Selects and schedules lessons, teachers, and testimonies for weekly meetings. Recovery coaching. Leading and teaching Celebrate Recovery Group and Step Studies. Attend conferences and training sessions relevant to Celebrate Recovery ministry leadership roles.
