Volunteering

Since being a stay-at-home mom I have spent years volunteering in the classroom and in the building. I have chaperoned field trips, assisted with classroom parties, assist bi-annually with the book fair, have previously assisted with the elementary school carnival.

While my son was involved in Cub Scouts I was the parent in charge of registering all groups for numerous camps throughout the year. I was also in charge of popcorn sales and was on the committee for wreath sales. I was an active member of the parent board for our Pack. I also volunteered for the time he was a part of Boy Scouts.

I have been deeply involved in the Miss Fridley Scholarship Program since 2000. Duties included, representing the community around MN and WI for a 1 year term. Continuing my involvement by driving candidates in the parade, running the fashion show, emceeing various events, and being a judge. I was awarded the Minneapolis Aquatennial Commodore award for my volunteer commitment.
