I've worked with the COL Emergency Communications Center over the course of one year and have multiple certifications in EMD, EPD and EFD, along with continuing education that comes with being a dispatcher. Taking initiative is something that is important to me. I will help my co-workers by calling water, sewer and reporting parties back when it is needed along with taking overtime and helping out the center's activities when necessary.
I have had experience with leadership at my past jobs and enjoy being in a position where others' can ask questions and feel welcome to come to myself as a person and a leader. I am extremely patient and can work with many different people and their training needs.
I am consistently working on my dispatching skills and finding things I can improve on.
I believe that the Telecommunicator II position will help me pursue the goals I have set for myself as a dispatcher.
