• Collaborated with team members to create summer activities and games to promote sensory, problem-solving and textile sensation.
• Under the supervision of the Speech Pathologists and the Speech Pathologist Assistant, I engaged the kids in activities such as pragmatic skills, turn-taking, and eye contact. I also performed feeding therapy and working with children who have problems with poor lip closure, oral hypersensitivity, or tongue thrust. Oral-sensory stimulation to the tongue during functional activity of tasting to facilitate a smooth transition to conventional spoon feeding.
• Under the supervision of the Physical Therapy assistant, you participated in baby yoga with younger children which included stretches to increase mobility and stiffness. Assisted children in upper body strength to promote sitting up on their own and control head movement. Also learned the different wheelchairs functionality to assist with the various children needs as well as assisting them in Pediatric Standers.
• Under the supervision the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, you participated in sensory activities and fine motor skills such as finger painting, light activities, hand massages and holding on to tactile toys for children with hand braces.
• Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, I was taught the different types of feeding tubes, seizure, and respiratory disorders.
• Attended and participated in meetings and brainstorming sessions with team members.

• A student led organization based around service within the Communication Science and Disorders (CSD) department.
• Elected Service Director which involves coordinating service opportunities within the community that supported and engaged children and senior adults by hosting events and activities for the local schools and nursing homes.

Events includes:

- Bingo at the Harding Place senior living facility

- Christmas Caroling and Valentines crafts at Crossing at Riverside Health and Rehab center.

- Hosted Relay for Life booth to raise money for American Cancer Society.

- Hosted the Trunk or Treat event for the Harding University speech clinic patients.

- Organizing an Easter egg hunt for the school children in the Searcy community.

• Volunteered at McRae Elementary Fun Day event where I hosted an activity booth.
• Attend bi-weekly organization meetings where I announce the upcoming volunteer events.
