  • As the team lead for our Physician Relations department, I am responsible for a great deal of tasks and duties, including:
  • Maintain a great relationship with outside physician offices, fax over patient visit notes, surgical packets, and co-manage forms.
  • Schedule outside-referred patients for a first initial visit.
  • Maintaining a calm and comforting persona to welcome and reassure patients prior to their first visit.
  • Maintain contact with our referred patients, while making sure they are receiving the proper care and getting back to their initial primary referring doctor.
  • Staying on top of billing, understanding which offices are par and non-par with insurance.
  • Making sure we receive post-op notes in a timely manner, keeping track of our surgery patients.
