- Collect various scrap materials and/or equipment from each Gentex location. Sort and process all recyclable material from manufacturing.

Accomplishments
I organized a Trophy Drive at Gentex to collect unwanted trophies to donate to No More Sidelines non-profit organization. No More Sidelines provide children and young adults with special needs, ages seven and older, an opportunity to play sports year round and to participate in community events and outings. The local nonprofit group takes donated trophies, cleans them up, replaces any missing parts and changes the figure on top to match the group’s activities — bowling, basketball, softball, soccer or track and field. They then are handed out as awards.

Additional Information
Every spring I look forward to putting together the May Baskets. I am a very compassionate on putting together the May Baskets for the annual May Baskets program! Poverty can often create additional barriers to leaving an abusive relationship. While many survivors can receive public assistance such as WIC or SNAP, these programs do not allow the purchase of any taxable items. Each May, we gift laundry baskets filled with taxable everyday necessities to all of the families using our services.
