As a behavior intervention aide, I developed visual schedules; token boards, and tracked data for students. I worked with parents and teachers for students with autism to overcome obstacles so they could participate in every day living situations. I worked with children as young as 3 or 4 to learn daily living skills in their homes. I eventually started working in schools, in the classroom to assist the teacher with the students goals. Building rapport with co-workers, parents and students was an integral part of the job.

Job required collaboration with other after school teachers to plan field trips and bring in community service workers to teach them about careers in our community.
