I taught youth ages 8 to 15 years how to germinate seeds in the greenhouse. I also taught them how to care for the plants in the greenhouse. I taught the youth how to prepare the beds for planting. I taught them how to weed, water and harvest the vegetables and flowers. The youth and I walked from the school to the two parks in town teaching them how to identify the plants we observed.

I assisted the Junior Master Gardener teacher in educating youths about planting and growing vegetables and flowers, using Boise Urban Garden School, (BUGS)
