- This was my first job after the Army. I delivered mail on multiple routes in Lancaster, OH. This included organizing, and transporting the mail securely. This took a lot of attention to detail. I also spoke to customers daily and would have many social interactions, all while doing my job. I was very good at the job, but i knew it was time to use my GI Bill and go to college.

- My 5 year tenure in the Army included a deployment to Iraq, and a mission to assist Border Patrol in Texas. As for being an engineer, i never got to do the job outside of my training. The things i did get to do were much more valuable to me. My deployment, as a Gunner for our commander, was dangerous but fulfilling. I worked hard and not only did i assist in constructing much of the base we built in Iraq, and gunning for our commander, but I also developed a promotable status. Within this, I won multiple soldier of the month boards and competed in soldier of the year. I eventually got promoted and lead my own team of soldiers, mentoring them.
