I ran cable in my
area with a ladder to create our own network within the company by installing a Cisco 48 port catalyst
switch to isolate our area from the rest of the other company's networks
We accomplished this by tagging
one of the VLAN ports back to the VLAN ports in the MDF
Another accomplishment is figuring out how
to successfully upgrade the Nexus operating system on the Nexus 7000 series switch
I documented the
whole process for future employees who enter the role so they have a living document on how to get
this switch up and working with no operating system
This took me three days before figuring out how to
resolve the problem

not allowing faxes to go through
They were using outdated equipment so I implemented the Cisco ATAwhile they were using ATA 122 and 112
I also implemented a digital spreadsheet to be entered
digitally instead of writing them down on paper
I could not assist in correcting their sales department
which had the wrong parts on the sales order than what was in the CRM we used which was Zoho

implemented centralized programming of the phones since Rimrock did not have a warehouse and was
shipping phones out to sites and not programming them before shipping them out
This was a consulting
