
As an Installation Technician, my primary responsibility is to install and set up various types of equipment according to factory specifications, consistently meeting or exceeding industry standards. I work closely with my colleagues to ensure no one is left struggling or working alone, while maximizing efficiency and productivity on every job. In addition, I am fully capable of assisting with hot-side operations when needed and am also willing to support cold-side work when requested. I readily share my knowledge and experience with others, offering guidance and encouragement to help strengthen the team and support professional growth.

Before enrolling in technical college for Appliance Repair, I gained hands-on experience by accompanying my instructor on service calls. During this time, I assisted with the repair of washing machines, microwaves, and ovens. I also shadowed my mentor, who trained me in the proper use of a multimeter to diagnose and test components such as infinite switches, capacitors, motors, and transformers.
As my skills progressed, I began completing service calls independently. After each repair, I documented my experience and shared it with my instructor and classmates. I explained the steps I used to diagnose the issue, the solution I identified, and the procedures followed to repair the appliance correctly and safely.
In my role as an IT Intern, I gained hands-on experience in managing and updating hardware such as laptops, desktops, and iPads. I provided troubleshooting support for printers and assisted in the building and repair of computers. Additionally, I efficiently completed service tickets submitted by school staff, addressing technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
