Provide a cradle-to-the-grave transition plan to ensure service members and their families are better prepared to transition from the military.
Provide initial self-assessment counseling and pre-separation counseling briefs to transitioning sailors, preparing them for their mandated TAP Workshop.
Provide resources such as VA benefits briefing, financial budgeting, resume writing, and interview skills.
Verify that Service members have met all TAP requirements and have a viable transition plan to successfully transition from a military to a civilian career.
Facilitate a warm handover to the appropriate helping partners, such as the Department of Veterans Affairs or the Department of Labor, if a service member requires follow-on assistance.
