After high school, I signed with a life insurance company and earned my Life, Accident, and Health License with them; unfortunately, I wasn’t as successful as I would have liked to be, so I tried to find another career like it, but because I had no experience, it was difficult. So, instead I gained experience in different fields. Though I’ve had only a couple of months of experience in majority of those fields, I found myself to enjoy the healthcare field the most. Knowing ocular terminology and abbreviations, also understanding eye diseases. Explaining to patients the different types of preliminary tests (Lensometer, Auto-Refractor, Visual Fields, Retinal Imaging).
