Summary

I have often considered myself as an artistic translator. My professional career has been capturing the magic in people's ideas and creating them in a physical form. This is a boundary-less place, with all things possible. I very intentionally created a business that offered this service in any way we needed it to be; i.e. installation (meow wolf), education. I specialize in being special. To be able to create an object, place, or presentation, required me to be entirely open to all mediums and master them to reach my ultimate vision. My focus has always been "art first." I only take on highly creative projects, and I do not step out of this professional realm. I create a story to design these projects. Whether I share them with the client or not, a storytelling practice is part of the inception. Being a person of service in this way has added another form of translation. Education is partnered with this business. Primarily because this practice has worked so well. I clearly defined another way to approach client based art, it's language is more thoughtful and empowering for all involved, and people have deeply responded to it. I felt a draw and obligation to put it to a heritage practice. So I pass it on.
