I have taken several horticulture/ag classes at Texas State University as well as Austin Community College. I learned about soil science, organic gardening practices, composting and more. I rent a house with a yard and have built my own vegetable garden which has allowed me to put my knowledge to use. Improving my little piece of earth is my favorite thing to do and I would love to help others to do the same while learning more about how to properly care for ornamental and Texas native plants. I am an efficient worker, a fast learner and can handle physical labor and Texas heat, all in the name of keeping things green!
