As the sole Meter Helper on the west end of Clallam County, I am responsible for efficiently and accurately reading all of the electric meters in Forks, LaPush, Clallam Bay, and the surrounding areas. I also read all of the water meters in the Clallam Bay/Sekiu areas. I complete all of the service work involving connecting, disconnecting, meter change outs, and transferring services from Lower Hoh to Lake Crescent with meticulous accuracy and record keeping. I work well and in conjunction with other departments such as Billing, Customer Service, IT, Water, and with the Service Man Rep Lineman as well to ensure good service and troubleshooting issues are addressed and corrected as necessary. I do disconnects for nonpayment, as well as collect money for those accounts in the field to avoid disconnection of service. I keep accurate and meticulous records of my daily service work and route information. I use a district issued cell phone with applications for service orders. I use Microsoft Outlook to communicate daily with other departments. I also have a district vehicle that I drive every day for my daily duties. I maintain qualification every year in First Aid/Cpr/AED certification. I have also received training in Fiber splicing, and hold a Washington State Flaggers card. Accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality are essential qualities for my job as a Meter Helper.

As a Customer Service Representative, I provided quality customer service to all West End PUD customers regarding their electric service needs. I utilized and was proficient in all PUD computer software systems. I created accounts and service orders for all types of customer needs as well as accurately submitted information from close out service orders. I processed payments of all types, including cash, checks, credit cards with accuracy, and balanced daily cash drawer. I compiled the total office deposits and delivered them to the bank. I operated a multi-line phone system to answer and transfer calls within PUD.

As a Banker at Bank of America, I provided friendly and professional service to all customers. I completed all types of teller transactions, accurately counted very large amounts of cash, and operated a computer/10-key consistently. I operated a copy machine, a fax machine, and multi-line phone system. I kept meticulous records. I facilitated the opening of a variety of bank accounts, investments, and input applications for credit cards and loans. I was acting manager or assistant manager as needed for the branch, to include opening and closing the branch and completing security sweeps as required. I maintained strict confidentiality and integrity in every aspect of banking.
