Summary

I am in my second year working as a nurse manager on a forty bed high paced rehab unit with a fast turn over. I have worked as a RN going on two years and transitioned into this position after having over three years of experience as an LPN. I pride myself on the fact that I started out as a CNA and worked my way up the ladder. This was important to me in order to understand all aspects of the job. I am a professional with a strong background in nursing leadership, focused on delivering high-quality patient care and operational efficiency. I have expertise in team collaboration, staff development, and resource management. I am known for adaptability and achieving results in dynamic healthcare settings. I am proficient in clinical skills, patient advocacy, and regulatory compliance. I am well rounded and experienced in all aspects of hands on patient care including but not limited to turn and positioning, toileting, med passes and wound care treatment. As a nurse manager I have mastered care plans and chart auditing. I ensure all patients are educated on admission and discharge and all post op instructions and recommendations are followed while being a patient on the rehab unit. I have mastered communicating with other departments such as dietary, PT/OT and the medical staff to ensure all aspects of my patients care are well managed. As a nurse I am open to change and adaptable. I handle constructive criticism well and I am always willing to teach and to be a team player.
