Program Manager

• -Provides direct service supervision for child advocacy center staff to include, child and family advocates, medical assistants, intake/volunteer coordinators, and forensic interviewers.
• -Manages forensic and advocacy programs and to ensure coordination and quality control o multi-disciplinary team response to child abuse and neglect victims, as well as secondary victims, and investigations.
• -Consults and collaborates with forensic interviewers, child and family advocates, law enforcement, military personnel, prosecutors, medical professionals, child protection workers, mental health professionals, and court victim advocates.
• -Works collectively with program manager and and executive director to assess and meet needs of agency.
• -Conducts and participates in multidisciplinary team meetings as well as leadership meetings among community agencies.
• -Provides education to partnering agencies and multidisciplinary team on agency purpose and disclosure dynamics.
• -Supports fundraisers and seeks community donors.
• Forensic Interviewer:
• -Interview with children, in child friendly and unbiased environment, for purpose of eliciting details of abuse child may have witnessed or experienced.
• -Follow ChildFirst Protocol with ongoing training and participation in Peer Review.
• -Meet with multidisciplinary team members prior to and following forensic interview.
• -Record and store each interview, utilizing iRecord and Vidanyx systems.
• -Subpoenaed to testify to integrity of interview and disclosure made in criminal and civil court.

• -Offered support and care to outreach and shelter clients
• -Assisted clients when filing order of protection.
• -Provided advocacy for civil and criminal hearings.
• -Managed shelter care for women and children, including: maintenance, grocery shopping, and housekeeping,
• - Motivated shelter and outreach clients to see own worth and strength, to build a self sufficient life, to seek therapy for trauma.
• -Researched, wrote, and managed grants.
• -Reported data in compliance with VOCA, DSS, and NAP.
• -Built connections in community.

• -Determined action regarding referrals for child abuse/neglect, status, and delinquency referrals.
• -Completed petitions and submitted orders to judge for child abuse/neglect, status, and delinquency cases.
• -Managed formal and informal caseloads
• -Tracked referral data in JIS system.
• -Participated in Family Support Team, through correspondence, meetings, and court hearings to discuss case type, progress, child and family needs.
• -Offered education to other agencies regarding role of Juvenile Office.
• -Assisted in development of Fostering Court Improvement program.
