- Reviews physicians' orders to determine medical imaging needs and operates radiologic equipment to capture, develop and produce diagnostic images.
- Educates patients on procedure details, provides instructions and answers questions to minimize anxiety and improve cooperation.
- Directs patients to exam rooms, fields triage questions, obtains vital signs, performs necessary POCTs according to established protocols and preps patient for provider examinations.
