Jessica Hillman

I am a student at Washington University in St. Louis passionate about Public Health and Biotechnology. I am pursuing a degree in Global Health and Environment and minor in Medical Humanities and Business of Social Impact in hopes to participate in the 3-2 MPH program and a future in environmental health and epidemiology. I am an experienced individual providing high-quality administrative support to various departments. Highly organized and detail-oriented with great multitasking and task prioritization skills.

• Researched poverty in Metro Atlanta suburbs, focused directly on environmental effects of public health, and gave group presentations aligned with recommendations towards a solution in my AP seminar class
• Researched the prolonged instability of female-headed households and effect on child development in Metro Atlanta in my AP research class

Georgia Certificate of Merit- The Georgia Certificate of Merit Program recognizes the top 5% or students in the junior class. The award is given due to high academic achievement.
Pizza Hut Foundation Scholar- Scholarship issued to students who provide leadership and are actively engaged in their community.
Scholar Award-Received the scholar award for high performance in my confirmation class of 2018.

Top Performer Award- Received this award to my overall performance in my confirmation class of 2018. 

AP scholar- Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams

African American Recognition Program-This honor was given due to high academic achievements in school and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™ 10, and/or AP® Exams.

John B. Ervin Scholar- Ervin Scholars may receive full-tuition scholarships with a $2,500 stipend or partial-tuition scholarships. The scholarship is renewed each year for the duration of the degree program, provided you progress academically and uphold the high standards of character required of scholars through four pillars—academic excellence, leadership, community service, and diversity

Beyond Boundaries Program-Selected to be apart of the Beyond Boundaries Program, a selective program designed to encourage students to have an interdisciplinary perspective to their education, alongside my admission to WashU. 

Operation Foster Growth: co-director of operations; the website locates scholarships and volunteer opportunities; the public forum helps inform and encourage students to get engaged about college.
