• Be receptive to taking orders for coffee, specialty beverages, and food items.
• Have the ability to learn and memorize large amount of beverage recipes and cup codes, be able to interpret Guests orders, translate Starbucks language, prepare the beverages to the Guests specifications, and call-out the beverage to the Guest.

• Upsell high-profit items such as appetizers and mixed drinks to enhance sales numbers.
• Arrange and prepare tables for customers to offer memorable experiences to guests and foster repeat business.

• Cultivate warm relationships with regular customers.
• Work with POS system to place orders, manage bills and handle complimentary items.
• Note special patron requests and follow up with kitchen to confirm delivery.
• Check identification for minimum age for sale of alcoholic beverages.
• Answer customer's questions, recommend items and record order information.
• Collect payment for food and drinks serve, balance cash receipts and maintain an accurate cash drawer.

I am very proud to have been choose to represent my beautiful country at Disney World (Epcot- Mexican Pavilion) I was able to interact with the guests, teach them about my heritage and customs, and make their time with us a magical experience!

During the year I was with Palmas Services- I learned about their multi-faceted operation.

• La Cantina (Fast Food): Took orders, cash handling transactions, cleaning of the tables, keeping the area clean and ready for service, and in the kitchen fulfilling the orders
• La Hacienda (Table Service): Started as runner/stock person- running out orders to the respective tables, graduated to Server where I greeted guests, upsold beverages and appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Responsible for all details of service including mis-en-place for upcoming courses, maintenance, and correctly closing checks.

• Was in charge of a group of (25) kids ranging in ages from (5-6) years of age.
• Made sure the kids were fed, arrived to class on time, and did not leave campus.
• Also in charge of the "Creativity" classes. Turned in my lesson plan for the week and would have the necessary tools ready for the kids. Usually two classes would double up so there would be up to (50) kids in the class.
