In my current role, I manage front office Human Services staff for 3 counties; Waseca, Steele, and Dodge. We use multiple state systems; MAXIS, MMIS, PRISM, SSIS, SMI, CaseWorks to serve the public with government programs; SNAP, MFIP, MA, Long term Care, Child Protection, and Adult Services. The front desk handles all calls, emails, walk in clients, scanning, faxing, incoming & outgoing mail, print jobs, all incoming paperwork. I also do the space planning, fleet management, maintenance liaison, building project management, safety committee co-chair, interviewing, and work very closely with other department heads across all 3 counties to ensure we stay on the same page and offer the best possible service to our clients.
I managed the Volunteer Driver Program which consisted of 70 volunteers. I did all of the claims tracking, coding, and billing for the insurance companies; Blue Ride, UCare, Medica, and South Country, along with the MA billing for the 6 counties we were contracted with; Winona, Houston, Fillmore, Dodge, Steele, and Waseca. I also did our grant writing for SEMAAA, and the United Way. I created a new STS program, Care A Van during my time at Semcac. I did all of our county and insurance contracts, managed volunteer drivers, van drivers, and dispatch staff. I implemented a new dispatching software; Routing Box and work with them to get automated billing up and running, they had never done it for a volunteer program before. I organized community events and attended/hosted many community group meetings.
Preparing customer repair estimates/orders/invoices, locating & ordering parts, scheduling client repairs and mechanic's day, payroll, bank deposits, customer service, helping customers solve any issues, selling vehicles and any necessary paper work, title work, office cleaning, internet listings,and working with other companies to solve business related issues.
