- I started in the model and die department and worked one year in here.
- Worked in the Orthodontic department for three years. I cross trained on several ortho appliances but specialized in all night guards and splints from the time they entered the department to the time they left the department to be shipped out.
- Worked in the Shipping and Receiving department for two years. I unpacked and packed cases to and from dental offices. I also specialized in logging the cases into our Magic Touch software into the correct doctor accounts and then also billed the cases out to the doctors and verified everything in the pan was correct. Being in this department allowed me to expand my knowledge of all the products and order of procedures related to those products made by the lab from crowns & bridges, implants, ortho devices, and dentures.
- That knowledge I took with me to the IOS department where I downloaded the doctors scans into our system and logged those cases into the correct doctor accounts in our software for the techs to work on. I then became team lead of the IOS log in department in IOS. I was in charge of a crew of five other people. I made sure things ran smoothly and efficiently, delegated tasks, addressed and solved any issues that arose, and handled disciplinary actions. I was in this department for two years.
- I then transitioned into a tech position in the IOS department. I used the 3Shape software to clean up the doctors scans and marking the margins. I eventually was entrusted with marking the margins for our highest profile doctors with the highest level of accuracy. This job inspired me to learn how to design crowns. So i started training in the 3Shape software on how to design crowns and bridges while still doing my margin marking duties. I worked in the IOS department for two years.
- I am currently in a completely new and created department in the lab. The company has bought a CT scanner. My current job title is a CAD CAM CT Designer. I use the CT scanner to scan in a doctors PVS impression. The software then sends the scan to a software system that is aided with AI. I then fine tune the margins and send it to the next stage in the system where the AI gives a design proposal that i then fine tune to the labs standards. This technology helps us to get a case from a rough scan to a designed crown in about 8 minutes. I have been in this position for one year now and with this company for eleven years.

- I started working for this doctor in his office lab pouring his wet impressions, separating his models, and sending them out to a lab. I was also in charge of cleaning and sanitizing all the instruments.
- In my down time, I started training chair side. Taking impressions of the patients mouths. Then inserting separators to prepare the teeth for the ortho bands. I also got trained and certified to take x-rays of the patients teeth for the doctor.
- From there i became full time chair side assistant for the doctor and made adjustments to the patients braces and inserted ortho appliances per the doctors RX and then he would make his inspections and send the patients home.
