Waldorf Astoria Hotel Renovation – Kitchen and Specialty Packages

• Lead management of 10 specialized trade packages valued at $46M+, including Kitchen Equipment, Decorative Metals, and Historic Painting, for a landmark NYC luxury hotel restoration.
• Oversee daily coordination with consultants, vendors, and field teams to resolve design conflicts, track change orders, and maintain project schedule using Procore and Bluebeam.
• Conduct regular safety walks, manage cost logs, and lead weekly coordination and logistics meetings with trades and supers.
• Co-founded and serve as National Co-Lead of Suffolk’s A.A.B.E.L. BRG, developing programs that promote mentorship, leadership, and visibility for Black professionals across Suffolk and Liberty divisions.

• Supported the Project Executive and Senior PMs with management of key scopes, procurement tracking, and coordination of submittals and construction documentation.
• Led early coordination efforts for kitchen equipment integration with MEP and structural trades; maintained drawing logs, tracked RFIs, and documented OAC meetings.
• Took ownership of field-level trade coordination while developing proficiency in Suffolk’s procedures for closeout, cost reporting, and safety compliance.

• Managed high-end residential and restaurant buildout projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Planned and coordinated all phases of construction, including subcontractor onboarding, procurement, vendor relations, and consultant communication.
• Led subcontractor kickoff meetings to align on scope, milestones, compliance requirements, and site logistics.
• Conducted value engineering exercises to optimize materials and construction methods, achieving cost savings without compromising design integrity.

• Collaborated with design team to create detailed 3D models and architectural visuals using AutoCAD, Rhino, and other modeling software for RFPs and internal presentations.
• Managed model shop operations, including maintenance of 3D printers, laser cutters, and inventory control, ensuring equipment functionality and material availability.

• Supervised field crews, including carpenters and laborers, to ensure adherence to project schedules, plans, and quality standards.
• Communicated site progress, labor status, and emerging issues to project leadership to support timely decision-making.
• Enforced OSHA and company safety protocols, contributing to a safe, incident-free job site.
