  • Designed and developed Lathe/Mill fixtures for Flange and Slip Yokes production lines. Wobble plate was designed to replace the fixed plate which solved the flange's ID Runout issue and saved 500k/yr from scrap.
  • Worked closely with Automation Department to achieve automated cell. Designed and developed robot end of arm tooling for manufacturing automation which helped the new cell eliminate 2 labor per (8 hrs.) shift and productivity increases by 20%.
  • Designed and developed assembly fixtures for the automotive assembly cell. Quick change design saved 50% changeover time and required less skill for operators.
  • Designed and developed inspection gages for the shop floor. Gages helped machinists to verify the setup and operators to verify the parts of dimension.
  • Designed and developed Poka-yoke fixture with mechanical OR sensor method for the shop floor to prevent or quickly identify and fix mistakes in the production process. Similar raw material/semi parts were identified before manual loading into conveyor/CNC machines which avoided machine crashes which saved big bucks and time on repairing and prevented production lines from shutting down.
